POLYPROPYLENE BIAXIAL GEOGRID

Features:

Polypropylene Biaxial Geogrid

  • High tensile strength polymer grids that improve the bearing capacity of aggregate base materials supporting paved and unpaved roadway surfaces.
  • Prevent cracking and subsidence by increasing the vertical stress distribution of unbound base aggregates.
  • Manufactured from polypropylene using extrusion, punching, heating, longitudinal and transverse stretching.

Performance:

  • High tensile strength in both the transverse and longitudinal directions.
  • Lateral stability is achieved by the geogrids restraining the lateral and vertical deformation of the aggregate
  • Reinforcement is generated by the application of vertical stress that causes lateral and vertical deformation of the aggregate and the geogrids.
